INTO - Illuminating Nations Through Offering Opportunity

INTO was founded in 2003 by two graduating seniors from Oberlin College. The goal of INTO is to close the gap between producers and consumers by creating a market for artisan's handmade goods and connecting individuals from all parts of the world. Individuals with purchasing power will be able to see their financial resources used to support hard-working trades people who struggle on a daily basis with the threat of unemployment, inadequate shelter, and starvation. INTO works directly with artisans in Ecuador, marketing their products in the US. The organization's long term goal is to foster infrastructure development and beneficial education/training for partners and their communities.
