Women in Nepal often have no control over their finances and are encouraged not to work outside the home. The women artisans Ganesh Himal works with are breaking through economic and cultural barriers to create financial stability for themselves and their families. There are moving success stories of women they've worked with for 20 years, whose own daughters are now also realizing economic independence.
