Global Mamas use:
- the ancient art of batik to color and dye their fabrics
- tie dye technique and designs
- hand-powered sewing machines allowing work during frequent power outages
The "living wage" artisans receive is over 10 times Ghana’s minimum wage. Financial assistance through raw materials revolving loans leaves more proceeds for the women, promoting social equality and economic stability.
The Global Mamas products at Revive include:
- onesies, T-shirts, rompers, dress shirts and dresses for kids
- robes, tees, shirts and skirts for adults
- jewelry, handbags and African spirit good luck charms
